Reemerging Colours and Design Trends for 2020-2021
I’m not sure about you guys, but I feel like Christmas lunch was about a week ago, and we toasted New Years Eve only last weekend. Turns out were almost in March 2020 and the year is quickly slipping through my fingers.
Anyone that has ever worked with me would know that I usually don’t specify from trend based advice, because a trend never lasts. It is usually a transient aesthetic that is super popular before it is out the window and quickly replaced with the next up and coming colour, design etc. Eventually they might come back around (hello 90’s) but it is usually a good couple of decades for a trend to return in all it’s glory.
In saying that, I have noticed an emergence of some trends that we have managed to not yet let go of. These trends have stood the test of more than one season, and as far as the trend forecasters predict, they will be even bigger in the 2020-2021 scene and perhaps even beyond then.
